Thanks PeterP. I love Ezra 7:10 that says, "for Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the Lord, and to practice it...". I really find that verse to be inspiring. My heart easily wanders. I realized that I need to discipline my heart. I definitely still have my daily struggles, but I try to spend time memorizing and meditating on God's Word first thing in the morning, right when I get home from work, and right before I go to bed. As the song says, "I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back! No turning back!"

I realized that I need to discipline my heart. "My heart easily wanders". Quoting you here, Vadernader. Me too. That's why I originally joined this site. Because my attention so easily wanders. My heart too. By focusing word by word on what God has said ... by using this site ... it's really been a great benefit to me personally.

Nothing wrong with using this site in that way. I find the same thing to be true. I desperately need more and more of God's Word. I quickly become spiritually anemic without it. May the joy of the Lord be yours as you are molded more and more into His image as you continue your survey of The Bible.
