Hi Onfire, those memorisation techniques you mention can work. However, in a nutshell I would discourage people from attaching an absurd or disgusting visual to a Bible verse because it might cause one to sin - especially an immature Christian if they allow their imagination free rein with no bounds. No offence. Just a thought :)
Hi Joosep, thanks. I've slowed down somewhat on LS as I pursue studies at Christian Leader's Institute. I have kept Learn Scripture up though - as you can see. Good to hear from you.
Just want to say hello, and praise God that you are continuing to steadily move forward in your studies here :) ...and adding verses that have reached the fully learnt status. 1,587 at last count :)

Thanks, yes there is a change I have made after being on this site for 5 years and being overwhelmed daily with long Review lists in which you need to practice all your verses for the sake of the one or two verses that may be due for review.
I now add sections (chapters) of the Bible and purposely keep them in the "Learn" section by not starting on the final verses until most of the verses are learned and finished. That way, only the verses that need practising come up for review - usually just a couple. Also, I have changed over to first letter typing. Hope this helps someone!
Well done Luli and congratulations on being the first to achieve Consistent Learner level 10!
Out of all the scripture learning I do on this site, I must say that I mostly enjoy adding new verses and going over them in the initial days. BUT, as we all know, it does add length to the practice list - so you have done exceeding well to persevere daily without fail for a full three years!
A piece of advice to others who would like to achieve this level; do it BEFORE you already have a lot of verses to practice - otherwise you may eventually become overwhelmed by your practice list and neglect to log on.
Susieq if you have not added any verses you want to learn, go to the bar at the top, click on "Choose" and start adding some. Then as joosep says, click on the "Learn" tab.
congratulations! I'm a bit speechless, don't know how to congratulate you for such an accomplishment. But clearly this represents a long period of consistent, diligent work. May God bless you and others with whom you come in contact.
Your stats are amazing! You have definitely set the high bar here, and you are a tremendous example to the rest of us what you can accomplish in a very short period of time. Congratulations indeed!
That’s an awesome total, which represents a lot of time invested in the Word of God. May God continue to bless you, Annette, as you spend time with him.
Hi Joosep, Psalm 32 verses 8 and 9 leaped out at me the other day, so your comment is rather interesting! I have been reading through the Psalms and have being greatly blessed and instructed by them of late.
