I started like you learning ‘random’ verses using verse sets that people have created here. But now I prefer to tackle a chapter at a time, because I find that gives better context and structure.
Martha, you can ‘reset’ any verse by clicking on the three-dot menu when you’re looking at an individual verse. The other option ‘stop learning’ keeps your %progress for that verse, but stops it reappearing in the review queue.
Interesting discussion here. I’d like a way to be able to review and re-learn where necessary a complete chapter (verse set) that I completed a long time ago, and have now partially forgotten. And in doing so, to let any verses in that chapter that I do badly on to drop below 100% and therefore re-enter the review cycle. Is this what you’d like JDJDJD?
I found I enjoyed the challenge and the discipline of adding one new verse each day as a way of focussing my attention on passages. But I’ve slowed down now, because I couldn’t keep up with the backlog of passages that needed reviewing.
Very impressive achievement. If you’ve added every verse in the whole bible, you should have got the level 9 badge. But maybe you’re not so bothered about the badges?
