Bethia, I like to review verses much more often than the system allows. I want to be able to recite them anywhere, anytime! IMHO the system here doesn't give enough reviews per verse and doesn't have the option to shorten to review time. The way to override the system is to hit "Reset Progress". Once you fully learn a verse, you won't get this option anymore.
However, you can reset your favorite verses by this method: Your name> Verse Progress > Hamburger icon > Practise ("your favorite verse") > Reset Progress
If there is a shorter way, I haven't found it. I think the method described by Onfire doesn't earn you any points, and I don't think it resets the progress.
I just found a new way to learn whole books of the Bible easily. 1. Find a well-read version of the Bible, such as the KJV dramatized: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXiRaCqjKQ0 2. Listen to it once every day. When you are familiar with it, slow the speed down to about 75% and try to read out loud with it (eyes closed). 3. After a month or so, you should know it!
The key is to stay mentally engaged with the reading, so you are following the meaning, and when at stage 2, to be predicting what is coming next.
If you find some verses difficult, break them up into phrases and use repetition to burn them into memory!
Yes, Joosep, so true. I just want to encourage everyone here to keep investing their time into Bible memorization. It's just soooo important and I believe is going to be even more so in the years to come.

Thank you everyone! You are all so precious and your encouragement means so much to me. I hope you all continue strong in your quest to memorize the Word of God.

I reset my verses every few days to keep them fresh because I don't have "verse completion" as a goal. It takes 11 clicks to reset one verse to empty boxes, which is annoying. It would be nice to have the option of daily review without all the clicking. If enough people want this, perhaps Luke would do it for us?
I can suggest a method: 1. Find a Psalm you find inspiring 2. Learn it verse by verse at your own pace, reviewing all verses learned daily 3. Keep practising it until you know it by heart 4. Use it in your devotions/prayer time
Has anyone else had trouble accessing this site on Chrome recently? I often get a warning saying there is a security risk. I figured out that cleaning the cache solves the problem. Perhaps SpookyLukey knows a way to fix this so it doesn't happen.
